Registration fees

The registration fees include attendance in the scientific programme, conference materials, coffee and lunch on Thursday and Friday as marked in the programme, as well as Welcome Reception on Wednesday, 3 June and Gala Dinner on Thursday, 4 June. One day fee includes participation during the chosen day, Gala dinner not included.

* A number of tickets have been reserved for KNF2020 participants to join a lunch cruise on board m/s Rudolfina and enjoy the beautiful and unique Turku Archipelago. Departure from the river Aura at 13.00, duration 2 hours. Ticket includes cruise and buffet lunch (drinks can be bought separately).  

Gala dinner for accompanying persons: dinner tickets for accompanying persons cost 140 eur (VAT 24 % included), you may book a ticket  via the registration form. 

We regret to inform you that due to COVID-19 virus epidemic, the KNF2020 has been postponed until June 2021. More information will be posted later on this website.


Methods of Payment

1) Credit card payment, no transaction fee.
2) Online bank payment, no transaction fee (Finnish/Scandinavian banks).
3) PDF invoice (payment with bank transfer). A transaction fee of 10 EUR will be added.
A PDF invoice will be sent to your e-mail right after you have submitted your registration. You can also download the pdf invoice to your computer after submitting your registration. Terms of payment: 14 days net.
4) E-invoice (Verkkolasku, Finnish organisations and companies only). A transaction fee of 10 EUR will be added.
An e-invoice will be sent to the given e-invoicing address. Terms of payment: 14 days net.

Please make sure to give a correct invoicing address. An extra invoicing charge of 10 EUR will be added in case a new invoice is processed (revised PDF or e-invoice due to the wrong address, or otherwise modified).

All payments must be made in euros (EUR).

Invitation letter

Please note! If you need an invitation letter for visa application, it is prerequisite that you contact Aboa Congress and Event Services ( before you make the registration and payment!


Please note that the meeting participants are not covered by any insurance (travel, medical, accident or liability) taken by the Meeting Organisers. The Meeting Organisers cannot accept liability for any loss or damage suffered by any participant or accompanying person or another person during travel to and from the meeting or during the meeting. Participants are advised to consider purchasing their own travel insurance and to extend their personal policy to cover personal possessions.


Cancellation of registration must be made in writing (email) to before 2 May 2020. No fees will be refunded after this date. A processing fee of EUR 50 will be deducted from all refunds.

In the event that the meeting is cancelled by the Meeting Organisers, or cannot take place for any reason outside the control of the Meeting Organisers, the registration fee shall be refunded in full. The liability of the Meeting Organiser shall be limited to that refund.
