We have a great pleasure to announce the Second Joint meeting of the Spanish and Finnish societies of Clinical Neurophysiology and the 30th “Valtakunnalliset KNF-päivät” that will take place in Turku, Finland, from the 3rd to 6th of June, 2020. We warmly welcome all our Spanish and Finnish friends and colleagues working in the field of Clinical Neurophysiology to enjoy the awakening of Finnish summer in Turku!
The scientific program includes plenary lectures and guided poster tour. The main topics of the program cover a full range of different techniques of therapeutic neuromodulation, diagnosis of peripheral neuropathies and neuropathic pain, uncommon intraoperative monitoring techniques, novel diagnostic applications for seizure detection as well as sleep and vigilance studies. There will also be panel discussions on diagnostic criteria for ALS and new European training requirements for specialists of Clinical Neurophysiology, and parallel sessions for technicians on Thursday. All participants are encouraged to present free papers for poster sessions after peer review by the organizing committee.
The conference venue is the new Medicina D building of the medical faculty at the Turku University Hospital campus area. There will be an Opening ceremony and Welcome reception on the evening of Wednesday, 3rd of May. On Thursday evening, we will enjoy a Gala Dinner in the old Academy House of Turku, in the neighborhood of Turku Cathedral. On Saturday, 6th of June, there will be an after-conference lunch cruise to Turku archipelago.
